Donna Baumann Fine Art

I paint primarily  in the studio  from my field research and En Plain Air when I'm  able. The geology of western landscapes moves me profoundly; inspiring me to capture forms and colors of  the land of little rain. I am drawn to how light illuminates surfaces of rock, and  water; striving to interpret the  brutal austerity of the lonely western landscape and it's endless sky.
